Thankful

I am thankful for a little boy with blue eyes that twinkle with two chubby hands that reach out for me, who calls me 'momma' and has shown me a greater way of loving someone.

I am thankful for a wonderful husband who still calls me beautiful on a daily basis even when I feel the farthest from it.

I am thankful for a house that feels all too small lately but is filled with great memories, laughter and love.

I am thankful for my parents that allow us to invade their lives and their house. I am thankful that it still feels like home.

I am thankful that my Grandma is still alive and kicking. I'm thankful she was able to spend yesterday afternoon with Colin.

I am thankful that Mike and I have found a church that we love and can relate to. I'm thankful for that they realize the value of children and the programs they provide.

I am thankful for our great friends that have not given up on us even though we haven't been giving them they attention they deserve.

I am thankful that Colin is almost 10 months old and has been lucky enough to only be watched by family members. I am thankful and blessed by how much they love him and the attention they show him.

I am thankful that I have a job that although I don't always like, I'm thankful that it gives me a paycheck which allows me to help provide for my family.

And while I'm thankful for many simple things such as donuts, wireless HSIA, and vacations, I am most thankful for God who has blessed me with a great life.

I am thankful for a wonderful wife that spends countless hours updating her blog so that everyone can keep track of how Colin is doing.

I am thankful for that same amazing woman who has stressed for days and will continue to stress about gifts for everyone until the last one is purchased yet has not asked for one thing herself for Christmas.

Most importantly I am thankful that I have the pleasure of spending the rest of my life with such a wonderful person who continues to make my life better and better each day.
