Dear Baby,

I know you are growing strong and healthy, and I know you need a lot of nutrition to grow the way you need to, but can you PLEASE save some food for me?? Why is it that every single thing I eat (even when I TELL you that it's for me, not for you), you devour and leave nothing for my poor body to feast on? I am starving all the time, and would really love for you to start learning how to share.

This is only the beginning. For the next few years, you will generally feed your child first. You won't get any food until it's cold and you are STARVING! :) I've gone from needing to eat immediately upon waking up to being able to eat an hour or two later. Breakfast at 10:00? Great! No need for any mid-morning snacking since it's pretty much lunch time by the time I finish breakfast!
