Week Twelve

Weekly update!

How far along?:
 12 weeks

Weight gain/loss:  total loss of 6.6 pounds

Symptoms: praying symptoms go away in the 2nd trimester

Gender: Team Green

Sleep?: not enough! darn Tigers have been playing late and I get suckered into staying up too late.

Best moment this week?: only working 3 days.

Movement: surprisingly I've felt a few flutters

Food cravings/aversions: salty potato chips, potatoes.

What I miss?: feeling 'normal'

What I am looking forward to?: announcing this pregnancy

Size of Baby:

your baby's the size of a plum!
The average fetus at 12 weeks is about 2.1 inches long and .49 ounces. Now that she's got pretty much all her parts, her main job is to keep on growing.
  • Most of her critical systems are fully formed!
  • She's about to enter the growth and maturation stage, in which her organs and tissues will grow and develop rapidly.
  • She's now developing her reflexes -- if you poke her body, she'll likely move.
  • She's opening and closing her fingers and curling her toes, too.
  • Her brain is developing fast!
What I’m nervous about: Getting this house ready to sell
