I hear low rumbles of thunder and the alarm clock now says 9:17. I roll over to see an empty bed. The house is quiet - too quiet for having two boys awake. I walk downstairs only to find this:
I hear joyful screaming and playing and I won't even say what time the alarm clock said now. Lets just say it was a blissful time - a time much later than I've seen in a long time. I walk down the stairs to see Colin and Mike playing puzzles on the floor. I think to myself this is a nice way to start the morning.
But it got better. Much better. Mike pulls out a white box. This white box.
What a perfect morning. Sleeping In. My favorite donut. Great Son. Fabulous thoughtful Husband. Thanks babe!

What a sweet thing to do!
How thoughtful! Sounds like a perfect morning. I just read it to Mark and we both commented on how we don't think we realize how we will no longer get to sleep until 10 (or 12) once we have babies. I mean, we're aware. But, do we fully comprehend?
