We've had a busy week. The weekly review:
Friday after work, we went to Brandon and Shaina's last week for a cookout. Colin really seemed to like Tiki and Tiki liked licking Colin :) Colin loved listening to their pool jets and was amazed by the "huge bathtub."
Saturday again after work, we took C back to Brandon and Shaina's and took him swimming for the first time. Regardless of the water being a little cold, he seemed to love it. We swam for about an hour until his diaper was about to explode and the storm clouds started rolling in. We went to my parents later to look at my dad and Tim's kitchen update progress and show off Colin's swimming pictures and video.
On Sunday, Mike and I both had to work (again. Are you seeing a trend here?). My parents watched Mr. Man and we had our usual Sunday dinner there afterwards.
Monday after work, myself, Mike Merridith, James, my dad, and Leah went to the Whitecaps game. Merridith's favorite Tiger's player, Magglio Ordonez was playing there so we enjoyed a long hot game while my mom watched Colin again. We got home a little before 11pm. I still had a bunch of work to do, so I ended up going to bed around 1am.
Tuesday was a long, horrible, terrible day that I would like to pretend never happened, so I won't even report on it.
Wednesday is my day to watch the three boys. Mike ended up working late and for some reason I can't really remember the rest of the day. I remember a big storm came rolling through just as I was about to head out to get some of this weekend's errands done.
Thursday I worked at 7am and got out late around 4ish. I picked Mr. Man up at Janna's, drove home long enough to changed and hand Colin over to Mike, headed to get my hair done, ran errands and got home after 10pm only to realize that I hadn't ate lunch or dinner yet. You know it's a busy day when you don't have time to even remember not eating.
So here I am now - dog tired waiting for Colin to wake up only to jump back in the car and run more errands. Knowing this weekend is going to be busy and I'm left wondering when I'm going to be able to catch up -- on sleeping, with friends, with life in general. I took a vacation day this week due to a shortage of babysitters, so hopefully having an extra day off will do me some good. Whine over. Now it's time to let my stress, frustrations, and sleepiness float away ...

So sorry to hear that your week was the one from hell! Maybe a certain little visit and vacay will deplete a little of the stress. Can't wait, by the way!
