So I'll write about our new purchase. We are proud owners of a new car. ... this car.
We bought a new pretty deep blue 2008 Saturn Vue on Saturday and picked it up today. Not a great picture but it's the best I could get with Mike's cellphone.
Of course I left Colin's shade in the Envoy, so we had to go back to pick it up. It was already brought across the street to the old lot, so Mike and I went to get the shade. I'm embarrassed to say that I got a little misty eyed as we pulled up. Mike laughed but alot of great things happened while I had that car. It was the car that we drove on our wedding night, it was the car that we took Colin home from the hospital ... both times, and it's the car we took our first vacation. I said to Mike the only place the Vue has taken us is Toys R Us :)
We are excited though. Mike loves having a new "toy" to play with. I look forward to having a new car to make other great memories with ... drive-in movies, family vacations, bringing home other babies.

May the Vue bring you many great memories. Who knows but maybe this will be the car that Colin uses to start Driver's Training and cruising with his first girl friend.
Blue vehicles have a reputation of surviving families memories and starting new memories with the kids!
If your Saturn lasts long enough for Colin to drive it in 16 years, I will go right out and buy a freakin' Saturn LOL
