Mike, Colin, Merridith, Alexander, and I went to go visit my Grandma tonight. We got there and were surprised to see how well she seemed. She seemed very much like normal Grandma and while we all know that she won't be around forever, we left having hope she might be around longer than we thought before we went. It was a nice visit. Colin was a little apprehensive of Great Grandma at first but warmed up and gave a bunch of hugs and kisses in between watching the trains and finding the birds. We took a few (not so hot) pictures. I feel blessed that we were able to spend some time during her good times and hope to visit again as Colin would say ... "soon." These next two make my heart melt.

Thanks Colin and Alexander for giving great-grandma a little boost- she LOVED your hugs and kisses almost as much as grandma does.
Kristi, I think you had better watch your husband. Someone really likes that shoulder.
I'm a wife, mother, friend, daughter and sister. I'm in love with shopping, getting freebies, saving money and being thrify. I love to travel, see the world, and be a homebody. I love reality TV, great music, and good food. I'm the stealer of the covers, a daydreamer and list maker. I like diet pop, fishbowls and donuts. I'm fat and know it but not ok with it. I love to bake, cook and read cooking magazines. I love children, especially my adorable sons, nephews and nieces. I have some of the best friends money can buy. I laugh too loud too often. I'm outspoken but hate confrontation. I'm a perfectionist and detailed oriented. I want more than enough, and won't stop until I get there.

So glad to hear that you were all able to go and see her. I'm sure seeing the boys meant the world to her!
